A suspicious death in Oakville is now being classified as a homicide case by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
43-year-old Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki of Oakville was found dead inside Montagio Custom Tailoring on Lakeshore Road.
There is no known threat to public safety.
The HRPS Major Crime Bureau is leading the investigation into his death and are urging anyone with information to come forward. HRPS officers are currently canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video between the times of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 22nd. Police are especially seeking video footage from the area between Trafalgar Road and Navy Street, north of William Street and south of Randall Street. They are also requesting anyone who was driving on Trafalgar Road between Lakeshore and Dundas Street, and may have dashcam video, to contact them.

A death in Oakville is being treated by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) as suspicious.
On Saturday, March 22nd, at roughly 5:30 p.m., officers were contacted after a dead man was located in a building in the area of Lakeshore Road East and Navy Street in Oakville.
Police have not made any arrests and do not have any suspect descriptions to provide.
Lakeshore Road East was closed between Navy Street and Thomas Street for the investigation on Sunday.
Anyone who may have dash cam footage of Lakeshore Road East between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. is asked to contact police.
