It’s almost time to be a good neighbour!
Every year, Milton Good Neighbours Day gathers residents from around town for the biggest community clean-up day in Milton.
One of the organizers, Alex Wellstead, says it’s been an ongoing event for roughly 30 years, but last year might’ve been the biggest one yet.
Residents can register for the event here. Wellstead says that while he appreciates people signing up, he also invites anyway and everyone to come out, regardless of registration.
Milton Good Neighbours Day is set for Saturday, May 3rd. It’ll start at 8:00 a.m. with a free breakfast at Milton’s Town Hall, located at 150 Mary Street in Milton. Volunteers will then be given a garbage and gloves, and the clean-up will begin!
