The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for two suspects following a theft case at a local athletic apparel store.
On Sunday, March 16th, at roughly 4:15 p.m., the two men entered the Sport Chek store at 2460 Winston Churchill Boulevard in Oakville. The suspects attended different sections of the store where they selected numerous items of clothing, valued more than $700, and made their way toward the exit. When approached by store security, the suspects ran out of the store and fled the scene in a Turquoise Hyundai Sonata, licence ALVB 257.
The HRPS describes the two suspects as:
- Suspect 1 – Male, Black, 40 – 50 years-old, average build, bald, goatee, wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers
- Suspect 2 – Male, Black, 40 – 50 years-old, thin build, wearing a black toque, maroon sweater and track pants, and black and white running shoes
