The Milton Menace hit the road to kick off their second round match-up in the OJHL Playoffs.
On Friday, March 21st, the Menace will travel to Collingwood to take on the Blues at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.
Milton comes into this season after a first round sweep over the Burlington Cougars. Leading the way so far is Captain Graeme MacAuley with two goals and nine assists over four games. Madden MacDougall is the leading goal scorer, with six over all four playoff games.
In four games in the 2024-2025 regular season, the Menace went 0-3-0-1 against the Blues, being outscored 10-5 in that span. The teams last played on the last regular season game of the season, which served as a make-up game for one that was postponed in February due to poor weather conditions. Both teams sat key players, with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.
The Menace finished the season in 3rd place in the OJHL West Conference. Their record of 36-15-1-4 over 56 games gives them 77 points on the season. Madden MacDougall finished the season as the team’s scoring leader, with 25 goals and 39 assists in 48 games played. Ryder Cali was second with 24 goals and 30 assists in 51 games, and despite being acquired mid-season via trade, Luke Johnston was third with 22 goals and 28 assists in just 28 games played.
As for the Blues, they were 2nd in the OJHL West Conference. They finished with a record of 43-9-3-1 over 56 games, giving them 90 points on the season. Their leading scorer was Damen Boose with 29 goals and 39 assist over 51 games.
Puck drop at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena in Collingwood will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21st.
Game two will then take place on Sunday, March 23rd at the Milton Memorial Arena in Milton. Game time is listed for 6:00 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
