Hamilton Police have arrested a pair of suspects after following a stolen vehicle into Burlington.
Throughout the month, Hamilton Police Major Drugs and Gangs Unit investigated a complex stolen vehicle incident. On Friday, March 14th, they managed to covertly follow the vehicle to a business on Plains Road. When it was safe to do so, the officers were able to arrest two male suspects:
- 44 year-old Maurice Caissy of Woodstock
- 36-year-old Andrew Gawrylash of Hamilton
During the search of the stolen vehicle, Officers located the following:
- A loaded semi-automatic Taurus TH9 9mm handgun
- Over 100 rounds of ammunition
- 155 grams of fentanyl
- 35 grams of cocaine
- 100 hydromorphone pills
Both have been charged with numerous criminal offences as a result of this investigation.
