You can spend an evening with an Olympian in Milton this week!
The Milton Public Library (MPL) is hosting an evening with Perdita Felicien. The world champion, Olympian, TV host, and speaker is the author of My Mother’s Daughter. This special event offers a chance to explore the themes of her memoir, engage in meaningful conversation, ask questions, and even get your copy signed.
The discussion will be hosted by Gennile Thomas Smith, founder and Executive Director of Halton Black Voices. Through her leadership, Halton Black Voices has become a key organization in the region, advocating for equity, fostering belonging, and celebrating Black culture.
Register for a ticket here.
The event is happening on Friday, March 21st, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the MPL’s Sherwood library branch. You can find the Sherwood branch at 6355 Main Street West in Milton.
