Stage of the Sports Celebrity Dinner (2020)
The Milton Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for their annual Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction.
This will be the 23rd edition of the event. It continues to be one of the Chamber’s biggest events, bringing in celebrities of different sports as attendees get a chance to meet some of their heroes and get autographs.
Proceeds from this event and the Milton Farmers’ Market Scholarship Café go toward the Chamber Scholarship Fund, helping local students in their post-secondary education.
The 23rd Sports Celebrity Dinner & Auction will be on Thursday, March 27th at the Oakville Conference & Banquet Centre in Oakville. It’ll run from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Get your tickets here.
The Chamber has announced Toronto Maple Leaf legend Darcy Tucker as the headliner. Also expected for the night are:
- Rob Butler – Canadian baseball player and former Toronto Blue Jay
- Sami Jo Small – Olympic Gold Medalist hockey player
- Billy Bridges – Canadian ice sledge hockey and wheelchair basketball player
- Tessa Bonhomme – Olympic Gold Medalist hockey player
- Mac Clark – Canadian racing driver
- Kiondré Smith – Canadian football player with the Hamilton Tiger Cats
- Noah Jensen – Canadian soccer player with Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League
- Doug McNair – Harness racing driver
- Rod Black – Canadian sports commentator
