The Milton Menace officially have their opponent for the second round of the OJHL Playoffs.
It was an easy round one for Milton, as they managed to sweep the Burlington Cougars in four games, putting him up the best statistical performance of the playoffs so far. Leading the way so far is Captain Graeme MacAuley with two goals and nine assists over four games. Madden MacDougall is the leading goal scorer, with six over all four playoff games.
This weekend, the Menace will kickstart their series with the Collingwood Blues. It’s been a one-sided rivalry for the Menace when it comes to the Blues in the postseason. They’ll try to slay the dragon after falling to Collingwood in year’s passed.
In four games in the 2024-2025 regular season, the Menace went 0-3-0-1 against the Blues, being outscored 10-5 in that span. The teams last played on the last regular season game of the season, which served as a make-up game for one that was postponed in February due to poor weather conditions. Both teams sat key players, with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.
