The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for a suspect following a theft case at the Milton Sports Centre.
Back on Thursday, November 21st, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., the victim attended the sports centre for a hockey practice. They were wearing a family heirloom gold necklace with a gold cross that he removed and stored in his bag in the change room.
During the practice, a lone male entered the change room for roughly four minutes before leaving the Sports Centre. When the practice ended, the victim returned to the change room and noticed the necklace was gone.
The HRPS describes the suspect as:
- Male
- white
- 40-50 years old
- heavy build
- wearing a light-coloured baseball hat, camo-style hooded sweatshirt with a black logo (believed to be Realtree), dark pants, dark shoes
- believed to been carrying a cell phone and operating a newer-model blue GMC Sierra with black rims
