Katherine Cirlincione, provided by the NDP (2022)
The NDP announced last week that they will once again be represented by Katherine Cirlincione.
Having grown up in Milton, Cirlincione is looking to tackle the high costs of living and scarcity of living should she win the local election.
“We need decent full time jobs and affordable housing to be able to support our parents as they get older” says Cirlincione in a quote provided by the NDP. “Young people deserve schools that don’t leak and their parents deserve a health care system with more doctors working in rooms, not hallways.”
We’ve reached out to the NDP for a deeper dive into Cirlincione’s platform.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be looking for comments from local representatives ahead of the provincial election. Other candidates announced include:
- Zee Hamid (Ontario Progressive Conservative Party)
- Kristina Tesser Derksen (Ontario Liberal Party)
- Susan Doyle (Green Party of Ontario)
The election is set for Thursday, February 27th.
