The Milton Menace finally got their payback on the Caledon admirals.
Back on Thursday, November 14th, the Menace went into Caledon for what was considered a trap game. It proved to work, as the Admirals upset the Menace with a 4-3 overtime win.
Things went a little differently on Thursday, January 23rd.
Markus Hicks started the scoring off for Milton in the first period. His 1st of the year was assisted by Captain Graeme MacAuley and Kaden Smith. The Menace led the game 1-0 heading into the first intermission.
In the second period, Cole Semeniuk made it a two goal game. His 4th of the year had some help from Spencer Vandenberg and Tristan Tremble. It was 2-0 Menace after 40 minutes of action.
Caledon would get on the board in the final frame, but Ryder Cali would create some separation. His 18th of the season was assisted by Kyle Burton and Ashtyn Pacheco. A few minutes later, Alexandr Siletskiy would bury the dagger. It was his 5th of the year, assisted by Marco Costante and Hicks. Milton would win 4-1.
In net for the Menace was their all-star netminder, Austin McKillop. On a light night, he stopped 18 of 19 shots, giving him a .947% save percentage.
The Menace now return home on Friday, January 24th to play the Leamington Flyers. Game time listed for 7:30 p.m. at the Milton Memorial Arena. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
