The Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup is returning for its ninth season, and a Milton hockey team might win the whole thing.
Eligible Canadian U10 to U15 minor hockey teams, as well as any Canadian resident aged 13 or older supporting a team, can submit their Good Deeds. A live leaderboard will showcase top-ranking teams, and a milestone tracker will track the total number of Good Deeds completed nationwide.
An added assist this year:
- the first 50 teams to register for the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup and submit a Good Deed will receive a $250 pizza party to kick off their efforts.
Also new this year, Chevrolet has expanded its prizes. They’re awarding $100,000 to the winning team’s chosen Canadian charity, with second and third place teams receiving $20,000 and $10,000 donations respectively.
Last year’s winners, Huntsville Sting U13-Black, donated their $100,000 prize to Food4Kids Muskoka, bringing the initiative’s total contributions to nearly $1 million.
The team with the most Good Deeds by Thursday, March 6th will be crowned the new Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup champions.
