A stolen vehicle was used this morning in an attempted robbery.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says on Thursday, January 9th, at roughly 11:15 a.m., a teen boy was walking on Stephanie Street at Longmoor Drive in Oakville when they were stopped by an occupant of a white Toyota Highlander with license plate number CTAK 889. The occupant exited the vehicle and approached the teen demanding the teen’s hoody and personal belongings. When the teen refused the occupant re-entered the vehicle with the vehicle continuing north on Longmoor Drive.
No weapons were seen and no physical injuries were sustained.
Four to five occupants were seen inside the suspect vehicle. All suspects are described by the HRPS as:
- male
- wearing black puffer jackets and balaclavas
If this vehicle is spotted, do not approach. Immediately call 9-1-1.
