Older residents can make an intergenerational connection with a stranger thanks to the Milton Public Library (MPL).
‘Project Pen Pal: Seniors Edition’ is a special initiative aimed at bridging the gap between generations through the timeless tradition of letter writing. Local seniors and teens will exchange letters on a monthly basis.
Letters can be dropped off at any library location. Staff will then connect you with your pen pal.
“Each letter is an opportunity to forge a deeper connection, share your wisdom, and perhaps learn something new,” says the MPL.
To join, click here. It’s a free service, and open to residents 55+.
