The holiday season is officially here, and you can help local children-in-need celebrate Christmas.
We have officially launched our 3rd annual FM 101 Milton Christmas Toy Drive, in support of Miracle on Main Street. All you need to do to take part is bring an unwrapped toy to our studios at 315 Steeles Avenue East in Milton. Your donations will then be brought to Miracle on Main Street in December.
The annual event collects toys from residents and donates them to families in need during the Christmas season. Since 2018, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) has been working in partnership with the Halton Regional Police Service’s (HRPS) Toys for Tots Campaign. They were officially joined by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) last year.
In 2023, we were able to fill up the bin in our front foyer and deliver each toy in-person to the TJSF. We’re hoping to do the same this year!
Miracle on Main Street will be on Saturday, December 7th. It will run from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Downtown Milton. Admission is free with the donation of an unwrapped toy. If you can’t attend, but you would like to donate, feel free to drop your donation off at our station.
If you drop off any unwrapped toys this year, you can dedicate your favourite Christmas song on-air to someone in your life!
