The Milton Historical Society (MHS) is holding another presentation for their Monthly Speaker Series.
Local historian and author John McDonald will make a presentation on Thursday, November 21st at 7:30 p.m. entitled The Show Must Go On: A History of Entertainment, Art & Culture, which covers the development of entertainment and culture in Milton, including our public library, moving pictures, as well as vaudeville and the various travelling shows that come to town.
The Society’s Monthly Speaker Series presentations are free to the public and take place at the historic Waldie Blacksmith Shop at 16 James Street. Guest fellowship takes place following each presentation and includes coffee, tea and sweets.
