The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs your help following an arson case in Burlington.
On Friday October 11th, at roughly 6:00 a.m., officers were called to a fire at a townhouse complex near Appleby Line and Taywood Avenue. This complex is in the final phases of construction and consists of a mix of occupied and unoccupied homes.
It’s been confirmed by officials that this fire was intentionally set and damaged two unoccupied units. Burlington Fire attended and were quickly able to contain the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained.
Police are asking anyone who may have dash cam footage of Appleby Line between Taywood Drive and the QEW between the hours of 5:45 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the morning of October 11th to contact police. The police are looking to identify the suspect’s vehicle, which is a red Dodge Charger.
