Milton’s transit line is getting more trips!
Starting Monday, November 4th, GO Transit is adding more train trip options, including:
- One morning rush hour trip departing Milton GO at 8:15 a.m., making all station stops and arriving at Union Station at 9:18 a.m.
- One afternoon rush hour trip departing Union Station at 4:40 p.m., making all station stops and arriving at Milton at 5:40 p.m.
GO Transit says they’re also adjusting schedules to better reflect actual travel times, with some trips departing up to two minutes earlier or later than usual. Trips from some stations will depart up to two minutes earlier or later than usual. Departure times at Union Station will remain the same.
For those who take the Kitchener Line through Georgetown, GO Transit says some weekday trips will also depart up to one minute earlier or later than usual.
Earlier this year, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and his provincial government announced all-day, two-way GO rail service along the Milton GO rail corridor is in the works, pending federal funding. No complete timeline has been provided since.
