You can attend a barbecue that’s being hosted by Milton Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Zee Hamid.
It’s being held as an end-of-summer bash for the community. Attendees can expect a bouncy castle, photo booth, face painting, henna and other fun family activities.
The newsletter sent out to residents adds that “Adults can enjoy other festivities, community connections and conversations.”
For food, there will be free hot dogs/hamburgers (halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options as well), ice cream, popcorn and more.
That’s all happening on Saturday, September 21st at the Milton Community Park, located at 805 Santa Maria Boulevard in Milton. It’ll start at 12:00 p.m. and run until 3:00 p.m.
Book your spot here.
Residents got a chance to hear from MPP Hamid, along with Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Milton Mayor Gord Krantz, at last month’s FordFest at Country Heritage Park. We have the speeches from the event here.
