A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for his involvement in the kidnapping of Elnaz HAJTAMIRI has been apprehended on an unrelated warrant in the US.
Deshawn DAVIS was apprehended in Redway, California, by the U.S. Marshals Service on Monday (aug5).
Elnaz HAJTAMIRI was abducted from a home in Wasaga Beach on January 12, 2022 by 3 male suspects, dressed in what appeared to be police gear.
The suspects fled in a vehicle described as a white sport utility vehicle (SUV), believed to be a Lexus RX.
HAJTAMIRI has not been seen since that day.
The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch is continuing their search for the woman.
