Donate your unwanted electronic devices to the Milton Public Library

If you have any unused or broken electronic devices, the Milton Public Library (MPL) wants to see you!

They’ve teamed up with non-profit “Let’s Get Together” for a tech collection event. Let’s Get Together aims to make learning equitable and education accessible.

MPL CEO and Chief Librarian Sarah Douglas-Murray says it’s all about digital literacy.

They’re looking for used, broken, and unwanted laptops; cell phones; and other electronic devices and accessories to be refurbished and circulated back to those in need in the local community.

You can also donate other unwanted indoor/outdoor household metal items that weigh 35lbs or less. Those will be collected in metal e-waste bins.

The MPL Tech Collect event will be on Sunday, April 7th at the Sherwood library branch at 6355 Main Street West in Milton. It begins at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 2:00 p.m.
