If you have any unused or broken electronic devices, the Milton Public Library (MPL) wants to see you!
They’ve teamed up with non-profit “Let’s Get Together” for a tech collection event. Let’s Get Together aims to make learning equitable and education accessible.
MPL CEO and Chief Librarian Sarah Douglas-Murray says it’s all about digital literacy.
Audio PlayerThey’re looking for used, broken, and unwanted laptops; cell phones; and other electronic devices and accessories to be refurbished and circulated back to those in need in the local community.
You can also donate other unwanted indoor/outdoor household metal items that weigh 35lbs or less. Those will be collected in metal e-waste bins.
The MPL Tech Collect event will be on Sunday, April 7th at the Sherwood library branch at 6355 Main Street West in Milton. It begins at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 2:00 p.m.
