The calendar for the next school year has been made official.
Both the Halton District School Board (HDSB) and the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) have received final approval from the Ontario Ministry of Education for the 2024-2025 school year calendar:
These calendars are developed with input from the School Year Calendar Committee, made up of representatives from the school communities including parents/guardians and employee groups. Trustees of both the HDSB and the HCDSB approved the calendar dates for the 2024-2025 school year at the February Board meeting.
They outline the Professional Activity days (PA) for staff when schools will be closed to students, as well as school breaks and holidays.
The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is Wednesday, September 4th.
