
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a fourth suspect in relation to last month’s robbery in Milton.
On Monday, March 4th, officers arrested a 17-year-old Toronto boy in Toronto.
He has been charged with the following:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
- Obstruct Peace Officer
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Police are not seeking any additional suspects related to this robbery.
SECOND UPDATE (Published on Tuesday, February 20th at 5:15 a.m.)
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has released the charges for the three males arrested following the armed robbery at a Milton pharmacy.
On Thursday, February 15th, at roughly 12:30 p.m., there was an armed robbery of Bonafide Compounding Pharmacy, located in the area of Britannia Road and Leger Way in Milton.
Three suspects entered the pharmacy and demanded narcotics. Due to the use of a time delayed safe, the suspects grabbed the cash till and fled the scene without narcotics in a stolen white Honda CRV driven by a fourth suspect.
The stolen vehicle was driven in a dangerous manner throughout Milton and shortly after the robbery, police located the suspect vehicle. There was a collision between a police vehicle and suspect vehicle in the area of Thompson Road and Main Street East.
After the collision, all four suspects fled on foot, leading to hold and secure protocols at nearby schools. Police on scene pursued the suspects on foot and three were arrested.
Police located a replica handgun in the stolen vehicle.
The three males have now been charged.
A 16-year-old of Toronto has been charged with the following:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Obstruct Police
- Disguise with Intent
- Point Firearm
A 17-year-old of North York has been charged with the following:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Dangerous Drive
- Obstruct Police
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
An 18-year-old of Scarborough has been charged with the following:
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of a weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Property Obtain by Crime
- Obstruct Police
All accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
One of the accused was already subject to conditions of a previous arrest, including house arrest.

Three people have been arrested and one suspect remains outstanding following a pharmacy robbery in Milton.
On Thursday, February 15th, at roughly 12:30 p.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) received word of an armed robbery of Bonafide Compounding Pharmacy, located in the area of Britannia Road and Leger Way in Milton. Three suspects entered the pharmacy and stole cash before fleeing the scene in a stolen white Honda CRV driven by a fourth suspect.
Shortly after the robbery, police located the suspect vehicle and there was a collision between a police vehicle and suspect vehicle in the area of Thompson Road and Main Street East. After the collision, all four suspects fled on foot.
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
Multiple schools in the area were placed in a hold and secure while police searched for the suspects. The search area also included the FirstOntario Arts Centre on Main Street in Milton.
Three suspects were located and arrested by police and a handgun has been recovered by police.
At roughly 2:30 p.m., the hold and secure orders were lifted by police.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says two Milton schools are currently in a hold and secure.
Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School was the first hold and secure reported by the HRPS. The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) says that St. Peter Catholic Elementary School is also in a hold and secure, adding that all staff and students are safe.
Students and staff at Bruce Trail Public School are in a hold and secure as well, according to the HRPS.
Parents/guardians say they’ve been informed that Chris Hadfield Public School has also been placed under a hold and secure.
Officers are searching for suspect(s) involved in a robbery at a nearby pharmacy on Thursday afternoon. There are no reports of injuries at the time of writing.
There’s also police presence at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton at 1010 Main Street East in Milton (also the location for the Main branch for the Milton Public Library).
People are asked to avoid the area as much as possible while the investigation is underway.
