A 47-year-old man is facing assault charges following an altercation with two Special Constables at the Burlington GO station.
On Friday, February 9th, at roughly 9:00 p.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a call at the station on Fairview Street after two officers with GO Transit were assaulted during an interaction and arrest of a passenger.
Police attended and took custody of the passenger.
Sean Kelly of No Fixed Address has been charged with the following:
- Assault Peace Officer
- Assault with Intent to Resist (two counts)
- Disarm Peace Officer (two counts)
- Sexual Assault
Kelly was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
