One more scholarship will be added to the Milton Chamber of Commerce’s scholarship program.
Since 1990, the Chamber has handed out annual scholarships to Milton students preparing to attend post-secondary education. For the 2024 academic year, the Chamber has partnered with Wilfrid Laurier University for an additional scholarship.
“The rising cost of living continues to affect businesses and households across Milton,” says Bianca Caramento, CEO of the Milton Chamber of Commerce. “These scholarships will help students in our community attain the education they need.”
The 2024 Scholarship program will award scholarships to:
- One student from each Milton high school
- A child of a current Chamber member
- One student attending Laurier Milton
“We are grateful for the Milton Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to supporting postsecondary education and for their investment in Laurier students,” says Deborah MacLatchy, President and Vice-Chancellor of Wilfrid Laurier University. “Supporting students in Milton means they can access a high quality Laurier education, close to home.”
The 2024 application deadline is Friday, April 26th.
