The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for three suspects following a home invasion in Milton.
On Sunday, January 14th, at roughly 12:00 a.m., the suspects entered a home on Commercial Street in Milton through an unlocked front door. The suspects were wearing masks and were armed with handguns. The suspects assaulted the occupants of the house and made demands for cash. The HRPS confirms that personal property was stolen.
The victims did not suffer serious physical injuries as a result of the incident.
Investigators believe the home invasion was targeted.
The suspects were described by the HRPS as:
- young black males
- possibly Somalian (as one of the suspects spoke in Somalian during the attack)
- driving a black SUV
Investigators are appealing to the public for any dash cam footage near the intersection of Commercial Street and Derry Road West from 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13th to 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 14th.
