You might need to wear a mask again if you’re visiting the Milton District Hospital.
Halton Healthcare has announced that changes have been made to their visiting guidelines. They say the reason for the move was to protect their vulnerable longer stay patients.
As a result, all visitors are required to wear a mask in the following patient care areas:
Milton District Hospital
- 2 North Regional Unit
- Complex Transitional Care Unit
Georgetown Hospital
- Complex Transitional Care Unit
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital
- 3 North Complex Transitional Care Unit
- 4 North Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
Patients and visitors to other areas have the choice to wear a face mask at Halton Healthcare facilities including the three hospitals – Georgetown Hospital, Milton District Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
Face mask dispensers are available at all main entrances for those who prefer to continue to wear one.
