We have the latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
READ – Man sentenced following local double murder
The map details when and where reported crimes took place in Milton. Between Monday, December 4th and Monday, December 11th, there were at least 49 cases of crime took place. Here’s what we found:

Among the 49 cases of crime, 19 were roadside tests, seven were break and enter cases, and four were theft cases of some kind.

With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:
- Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;
- Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;
- Remove valuables from plain view; and,
- Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
