The Alliston Lions Club, Red Barrels of Happiness have been rolled out in New Tecumseth.
The barrels are in locations around town… residents can drop donations into the barrels for residents who have fallen on hard times.
Lions are once again collecting toys and non-perishable food donations, this year there is a need for gifts for children aged 9 – 12 years.
Last year 171 families in the area received assistance through the Christmas Hamper Campaign… 231 of which were children.
The hampers are then dropped off to those who have registered with the Lions a couple weeks before Christmas to allow them to prepare for the big day.

Registration for the Alliston Lions Club Christmas Hamper Food and Toy Program will take place at the Alliston Lions Hall on Boyne Street.
Delivery of the Food and Toy Hampers will take place December 16th.
Applications must be made in person.
