A Brampton man has been arrested following an arson investigation in Milton.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that on Monday, October 2nd, at roughly 4:00 a.m., they attended a fire in a parking lot at 326 Bronte Street North. A semi-trailer truck was fully engulfed in flames when police arrived on the scene. The fire was safely extinguished by Milton Fire and Rescue Services.
An investigation determined the fire to be an act of arson. Gasoline was also found to be poured over other semi-trailer trucks parked in the lot (although they were not set fire). Damage was also caused to a pickup truck parked next to the semi-trailer truck set on fire.
On Sunday, November 12th, police arrested Kumar Vinit. At that time police also executed a search warrant at a residence in Brampton.
