Two people are recovering after being stabbed at a home in Alcona.
On Tuesday, August 22nd, the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a report of a stabbing. The suspect left the scene in a vehicle, but was subsequently arrested without incident. Both victims were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old unnamed Innisfil man was charged with Assault With A Weapon and Uttering Threats.
Due to the domestic nature of this incident, the suspect’s name will not be released to protect the identities of the victims.
The knife believed to have been used in this incident was recovered.
