The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
One additional death is shown in the totals. It was a Burlington resident, giving the city 219 total deaths. Oakville remains at 152 total deaths. Milton remains at 87 total deaths. Halton Hills remains 78 total deaths. Halton is now at 536 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 21 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 59,536. There have been 1,925 total hospitalizations in Halton and 536 deaths.
In Milton, we had one new case. That brings us to 15,237 total cases. There have been 440 total hospitalizations in Milton and 87 deaths.
There are currently no outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,569,137 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,400,065 of the doses were to Halton residents.
