Residents in both Innisfil and Bradford are being reminded the Towns are following lawn watering restrictions.
Home owners are being asked to water lawns and gardens in the early morning or late evening hours…and that they follow the ODD – EVEN schedule.
That means residents living at an even numbered house use water outdoors on an even calendar day and odd number houses use water on an odd day…this is an effort to conserve water.
There are exceptions to the rule however.
Newly planted trees, shrubs and flowers can be watered immediately after going into the ground.
You can water lawns immediately after applying fertilizer and then again 24 hours later.
You can also water newly laid sod for 30 days.
