This years Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is set to take place this Saturday (may27).
The Alliston Lions Club hosts the annual event in an effort to raise the funds necessary to train guide dogs for Canadians with disabilities.
Jaime Karsch is a member of the Lions, and is the Chair for the Walk.
She says when most people think of guide dogs, they think of dogs who help the visually impaired, but it is so much more then that.

The walk takes place at the Alliston Lions Club on Boyne Street.
Registration opens at 10 and the Walk begins at 11.
