McDonald’s in Milton was able to celebrate McHappy Day on Wednesday.
Since 1977, McHappy Day in Canada has been helping the families who need support from the Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC). Portions of the proceeds from every single menu item sold on McHappy Day go to the RMHC and other local charities.
The team from the Milton District Hospital Foundation was on-hand at the McDonald’s on Santa Maria Boulevard in Milton, as their organization is a key local beneficiary of the day.
Local franchise owner Cam Binnie says it’s always a day that he has circled on his calendar.
On average, more than 26,000 families in Canada receive support from the RMHC every year.
