The Toronto Police Service says that the Canada-wide warrant for 31-year-old Michael Stamatakos has ended. This comes after he was reportedly found at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Saturday night. It was a nurse that recognized his face and called the police.
He is currently at the Hamilton Detention Center, where he is reportedly cooperative.
Stamatakos is currently serving a two-year sentence for several crimes, including arson, damage to property, dangerous operation of a conveyance, flight from a peace officer, uttering threats to cause death or harm and possession of a Schedule I substance.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) issued a Canada-wide warrant for 31-year-old Michael Stamatakos. He’s described by the OPP as:
- 5’5″ tall
- 110 lbs
- brown hair
- brown eye
- multiple tattoos
Definitely more than one tattoo, that’s for sure.
He is supposed to be serving a two-year sentence for several crimes, including arson, damage to property, dangerous operation of a conveyance, flight from a peace officer, uttering threats to cause death or harm and possession of a Schedule I substance.
He’s known to frequent Toronto and the GTA.
