Milton Town Hall
You’ll be able to park on Milton streets more often.
The Town of Milton is increasing on-street parking exceptions granted per licence plate, per year from 18 to 25.
Temporary on-street parking exceptions are available for those who need to park on the street for more than five hours or overnight between the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
“Increasing the yearly on-street parking exceptions to 25 per license plate, per year, provides Milton residents with one of the highest annual on-street parking exception maximums, compared to neighbouring municipalities,” says Milton Mayor Gord Krantz.
On-street parking exceptions are not applicable to:
- Commercial vehicles over 6.7 metres in length or 2.6 metres in height
- School buses and commercial coaches
- Derelict vehicles, unlicensed vehicles and immobile trailers
In an effort to prevent snow removal obstructions, on-street parking exceptions obtained prior to snow events are null and void during snow-clearing operations.
In advance of the snow storm, parking exceptions have been suspended in #MiltonON until Sunday, March 5 at 3 p.m.
Help our crews by keeping vehicles off streets during this snow event.
Temporary parking for residents is available at parks across town.
