The Milton Menace finished their regular season on a down note this past weekend.
It was road game at the Eddie Bush Arena against the first-place Collingwood Blues.
The game started off scoreless through the first period. It wasn’t until the 2:25 mark in the second where Collingwood got on the board. They then scored again to open the third, before Nicholas Wereha made it a close game on the powerplay. His goal was assisted by Alessandro Petreccia and Jared Coccimiglio.
The Menace would lose 2-1.
Will Goumas was in net for Milton for most of the game (the net was empty to finish the game). He faced 28 shots, stopping 26, giving him a .928% save percentage.
The Menace will now get ready for the playoffs. We’ll update you when more information about their matchup is made available.
