A post-mortem examination has confirmed the identity of the deceased as 21-year-old Alexander Amoroso-Leacock of Toronto.
The investigation is ongoing. The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) continues to appeal to anyone who may have information on three outstanding suspects that fled the scene in a white vehicle. The vehicle is believed to be a light-coloured Dodge Charger with a sunroof and black wheels.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has released more information Sunday morning’s shooting.
On Sunday, February 19th, at roughly 5:00 a.m., a group of suspects approached a house on Gibson Crescent in Milton. The HRPS says they believe the suspects were looking to commit a robbery at this home. Upon entering the residence, they were confronted by an occupant and a number of gunshots were fired within the home. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other individuals were arrested when police arrived.
Halton Police have laid the following charges in relation to this incident:
22-year-old Ali Mian of Milton has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder
20-year-old Romario Clarke of Oshawa has been charged with one count of Break and Enter, and one count of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
Both are next scheduled to appear in Milton Court on Tuesday, February 21st.

A shooting has been reported in Milton.
At roughly 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 19th, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to gun shots at a residence on Gibson Crescent. The report says two male suspects went to the residence and fired shots inside. One person is dead. A resident and a second suspect have since been arrested.
The HRPS says the shooting was an isolated incident and appears to be targeted. Expect an ongoing police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
