Police are reminding the public that magic mushrooms are illegal and cannot be possessed, sold or purchased.
A 37 year old Bradford resident is facing charges after a Police search of a property Wednesday (feb15).
South Simcoe Police executed a search warrant in Bradford West Gwillimbury and seized psilocybin (mushroom products), including food items, drinks products
and complete mushrooms.
A female Bradford resident is facing charges of Possession of a controlled substance, Possession for the purpose of trafficking and Trafficking.
The South Simcoe Police say there are no people or places within the jurisdiction that are licensed or exempted from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to
sell or distribute products containing psilocybin.
