The flag at Stevenson Memorial Hospital has been lowered following the death of a former chief of staff.
Dr. Trevor Hunt was a pediatrician who began his work at the Alliston Hospital in 1975.
He held the title of Chief of Staff for 11 years.
In 2015, SMH recognized Dr. Hunt as an ‘Unsung Hero’ with a tree planted in his honour.
Current Chief of Staff, Dr. Jaco Scheeres sees Dr. Hunt as an inspiration.
