The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says an investigation into the business operating at the site formally known as “Nashville North” has ended with charges being laid.
It was announced in the fall that the local favourite night club was relaunching after previously closing its doors. The site is located at 530 Guelph Street in Norval, just outside of Georgetown within Halton Hills.
Police began the investigation after numerous complaints from local residents about events taking place at the site. These events have been taking place regularly in the evening hours of the weekend and have drawn large crowds.
In response, the HRPS has been dedicating additional resources and increased uniform officer presence in the vicinity of the establishment. The HRPS has also been operating increased RIDE programs in the area with community safety being of the utmost importance.
On Tuesday, January 31st, 53-year-old Richard Marshall of Brampton was charged with two counts of Unlawfully Selling Liquor, contrary to the Liquor Licence and Control Act.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the 1 District Community Mobilization Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2467.
