The latest snow storm has struck Milton and the roads aren’t in great shape.
While plows continue to work on making the roadways safe for motorists, it’s been decided that school buses will not run today (Thursday, January 26th). Halton Student Transportation Services (HSTS) say that buses for all three of Halton’s Zones are cancelled for the morning and afternoon runs. That covers Milton, Halton Hills, Oakville, and Burlington.
The good news, depending on your viewpoint, is that schools remain open for both the Halton District School Board (HDSB) and Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB). If your child is staying home today, make sure to report them as absent.

If you can, work from home today. The primary roads are fairly clear around Milton, but there are a lot of slippery patches. If you do hit the roads, drive safe and be smart!
