It hasn’t been a good start to 2023 for a local church.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that St. Paul’s United Church on Milton’s Main Street was broken into overnight on Wednesday, January 18th into Thursday, January 19th. The suspect forced his way through an entry door and managed to get off with a set of speakers, copper pipes and gift cards. The HRPS describes the suspect as male, white with a medium build.
A listener also reached out saying that another local church was broken into, with an altar cross being among the items stolen. The HRPS at this time couldn’t provide any information on that specific case.
We’ll let you know if any more information on these break-ins is made available.
