If you have been looking for a way to give back or if you are a student in need of volunteer hours, circle January 21 on your calendar.
The Alliston Rotary Club is hosting their first ever Volunteer Fair in an effort to bring together those who need volunteers and those willing to do the heavy lifting.
Brian Carmichael is the Event Chair with the Rotary Club, he says there are a number of places that would not be able to continue offering their services without the assistance of volunteers.

The Volunteer Fair is taking place on January 21 at the Alliston Memorial Arena between 10 and 4.
There will be services catering to animals, respite services, organizations that assist with employment and others that aim to stop homelessness.
Carmichael says if you find a service you are interested in, you can sign up right there and then.
