The Town of Innisfil has activated its Snowplow Tracker now that the white stuff is on its way.
Residents can stay up to date on where and when roads are cleared by following the plows online.
An electronic map shows which roads and sidewalks have been cleared within the last 12 hours, so you can plan your route.
With 758 km of roads, it takes approximately eight hours to clear a single plow route, then an additional six to eight hours to clear a road after the snow has stopped falling.
Sidewalks are cleared in the same manner as roads, with high traffic routes cleared first.

Just a reminder if you see a snowplow with its lights activated and its plow down, it can only go 40-km/h….it is also recommended you do not attempt to pass.
