Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Thursday, December 15th.
Residents and motorists can expect ice accretion of a few millimetres. That will likely be followed by 5-10 centimetres snow early this afternoon. With higher winds, expect blowing snow on the road.
Here’s the message from Environment Canada:
Freezing rain this morning transitioning to snow early this afternoon. Snow will taper to flurries or drizzle this evening. Freezing drizzle may develop tonight.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
