
The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show three additional deaths in the totals. Two of the deaths were attributed to Oakville, giving the town 131 deaths total. The other death was a Burlington resident, giving the city 176 deaths total. Milton remains at 77 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 72 deaths total. Halton is now at 456 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 182 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 56,508. There have been 1,627 total hospitalizations in Halton and 456 deaths.
In Milton, we had 28 new cases. That brings us to 14,674 total cases. There have been 365 total hospitalizations in Milton and 77 deaths.

Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,512,628 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,349,285 of the doses were to Halton residents.
