Bianca Caramento, provided by the Milton Chamber of Commerce
The Milton Chamber of Commerce has announced that Bianca Caramento will serve as its new CEO and President.
She’s taking over for Scott McCammon, who announced that he was leaving earlier this month.
Caramento will bring Chamber experience with her, having worked for both the Ontario Chamber and the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce in policy and government relations. She also was a lead in the Ontario Caucus Policy Advisory Council, which analyzes the resolutions debated at the Canadian Chamber’s annual policy conference. She also held leadership positions with the Bay Area Climate Change Council and the Centre for Climate Change Management, both of which are part of Mohawk College.
Caramento has her Honours Degree from McMaster University and her MSc from the London School of Economics.
“I am proud to have known Bianca for many years and worked closely with her during her time with the Chambers,” says McCammon in a newsletter to Chamber followers and members. “She is intelligent, personable, focused, and results oriented. She is ideally suited for the Milton Chamber President & CEO role.”
Miltonians will have the chance to meet Caramento at the Member Appreciation Reception & AGM on Wednesday, December 7th. That will also be McCammon’s final event with the Milton Chamber.
