The Milton Menace are bringing back a former player.
The team continues its run of trades with another, trading a Player Development Fee for left-handed defenceman Alessandro Petreccia from the North York Rangers. Petreccia had previously played for the Menace in the 2021-2022 season where he played in 48 games, scoring six goals and 18 assists. He was traded to the Rangers this past offseason, alongside centre John Mitchell, for forward Luca Rea. The Menace then traded Rea to the Haliburton County Huskies this past week.

Petreccia hasn’t seen much ice-time in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) this season, playing in eight games for the Rangers, picking up just two assists. He also has two games in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) this season, playing for the Kingston Frontenacs, where he has yet to score a point. Those two games also mean that Petreccia has forfeited his eligibility to play in the NCAA after his time in the OJHL.
The Menace next play on Friday, November 25th at home against the Aurora Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be found here. They will then play at home again on Sunday, November 27th when the Burlington Cougars come to town.
